what a lovely tank,
you must have to work hard on it.

step into the light,
stay out of the shadows.

thank you everyone. i'm surprised the tank has worked out well, I started knowing nothing about fish or tanks, and made no plans at all. I'm just lucky it has worked out. :D
Oh, and I'll jst check the file extension thingy now...

no, it didn't work I'm afraid. Firstly it said "Extension jpg not allowed", and when I tried again "tried to upload empty file."
Thanks though. I can upload my photos through Photobucket anyway. :)

Well, got some horrible news.
Both my Rams have died. They had fungus and I suspect an internal bacteria. I had to euthanise the female as she was in obvious distress, but the male just basically switched off like a light. Poor things.

I am going to upload some more photos in a wee while, I just thought I'd let you know of the news.

P.S. The Cories and all the other fish are doing fine though. :)

Very bad news and some good news

Hi,
I thought I told you all when it happened, but I didn't, so sorry for not telling you all sooner: My Rams have died. One got awful pop-eye, which made him not able to see, so he couldn't eat, and he was in obvious pain and distress. I had to euthanise him. The other (the male) very suddenly sprouted a disgusting fungus growth, which quickly killed him. :(
Poor wee things.

This happened several weeks ago, and 2 days ago, I bought another 2 female Blue Rams. One has a birth deformity in the shape of poorly developed ventral fins, ie they are tiny wee stumps, but she is actually the dominant one and acts perfectly fine. :)
The other must have swam into something and cut her mouth overnight, so I'm keeping an eye on that. ;)

Anyway, here's some PICS!
The bag floating in the tank:
