Hey Everybody....as I said in the post in the general forum, when I came home from work yesterday....sitting in the back of my fiance's SUV was a brand new 55G Gallon tank!!!!! She said she felt so horrible about both of my tanks falling apart on me she went to Pet Smart and bought me a new one today!!!!! Coolest chick ever right??!!?
I was so antsy to get this thing up and going that I had already bought all my plants and rocks for the tank. These are the coolest rocks I've come across in my travels. They are called "Utah ice rocks" they pretty much look like glacier rock...so I went with those and white gravel, with a black background...as the title said I call it my arctic tank! I just moved the fish over...so without further hesitation...finally....here is my new tank!!!!! Yay!!!!
Marry Her!
Your tank looks great. I agree, the coolest ever. I've never seen anything like it. The color of your fish(es) looks amazing against the rock backdrop.
Not to be a buzzkill but did you test the rocks to make sure they were the "safe ones" to use?
It's really a very nice looking tank. You are very creative!
Wow thats not to far away!
I know you where very disappinted about your cracked tank. That was a great thing your girl did for you.
Your new tank looks great.
Wow, those are really cool rocks! It sure does look very arctic. And I love how the white molly looks in there. Hopefully you can get that white gravel to stay white. lol What other fish are in there? I think I saw black skirts and cories.
Gotta say, the tank looks really stark and bright.
White rocks on white substratre with white fish...
But who says my opinion means anything, I'm so glad you are happy with your tanks
Truly an amazing tank. It's just beautiful. Know of anywhere you can get those rocks online?
