Water Perimeters

Water perimeters? Such as Ph, water temperature and ammonia levels?

Ph: 7ish
Temperature: 78
Ammonia lvl: 0-0.20 then a water change.

I don't have a full on water kit.

Well, I don't know what to say. The pH is fine for a pepper (but kinda low for a molly), the temp is right at the high end of acceptable. The ammonia issue would be best addressed by someone else.

6 gallons is small for the fish you have, molly or cory. (And maybe that what's up with the ammonia readings.) I don't know what to say. Would a peppered cory or two be happy in that tank? Honestly, no. Okay. So, let's be optimists here- maybe this is a great time for a tank upgrade!

I would have gotten a bigger tank but it situates in my room on a table desk. It fits the desk perfectly. I am still living at home with my parents and they would never allow a tank bigger than that. I am 19. This is why I really don't want to get another cory. I know the baby fry will be gone soon enough but they aren't really the issue at the moment.
