@1077: My sword is pretty much the craziest plant ever. It doesn't stop growing. When I went to take it out, it's root system covered most of the bottom of the tank...I'll give it a shot tying to fern to the rock...I mean I have had it for quite a few months and it's living just well, but I'll see if I cant something creative going on. I doubt I'll need root tabs, I've never used em again, but I got some in case. Thanks for your kind words!

@Eileen: Thanks! Yeah, I thought about that. I mean it 55 cents so I'm not too concerned about it, but I probably will get me something water proof here soon. Despite the fact tha DP apparently like sand more, I'm rather fond of the substrate I have in their tank. I got this Activ·Flora™ Planted Aquarium Substrate by World Wide Imports Ent., Inc. in Floracor Red. I really like it. My betta tank I may change. It's got a river pebble substrate, but it's boring, so I may do sand. And the cories I can tell very much do appreciate the change.

Awesome job! I am blaming you right now.... when my wife asks me what I'm doing in the den... and I have to tell her that I am setting up ANOTHER aquarium... I am blaming you. I love it!

Where did you get the sand?

Thanks a lot! I have Commercial Grade Quikrete Fine Sand. It's right around four dollars for a fifty pound bag at Home Depot. It took me around 40 pounds of it to get a depth around 3 and 1/4 inches.

Very nice; when the other plants are in, it will be a wow factor. Well done. B.
