I got a Free Betta today....

Got an email from freecycle for a free betta yesterday and could not resist the temptation to reply to it. The lady called me last night and we spoke for a few minutes I told her about all my tanks and how much I enjoy them and she said she had spoke with 8 people already but had not really liked any of them until she spoke with me she said she had placed the add for a friend that had got it as a gift but did not want it. When I went to pick him up today he was in very dirty water in a tiny fish bowl that did not have any gravel or any kind of decoration now he is in an 3 gallon tank that I had with real plants and a heater. He seems to be very happy exploring his new home and I really don't understand why someone would not want such a beautiful fish. So with out further delay here he is please help me name him:
Here is a full tank shot sometimes the way the light hits him he looks blue green like this picture:

But other times he looks dark blue like in this one, he also has two very small white spots on the tip of his front fins:

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

LOL If you mean as in Justin Bieber that would not work because then my niece would want him. She is 4 years old and in love with Justin Bieber.

He sure is a beauty. I'm glad that they gave him away rather than keep him in bad conditions.

Congrats!

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Call him Lucky because he's lucky to have gotten a new home where he will be loved and taken care of. He's beautiful!
