LOL. That's the first garage tank setup I've seen.

Nice.

I'm a "man cave" garage enthusiast myself. I have my 55g in there, 50 inch hdtv, 360, surround sound, the whole 9 yards. I have heat routed to the garage too so no issues there.

That's a nice work bench you've got there, did you build it yourself?

Thats awesome! I kinda have that setup you do, but its only in my room... i don't have my a full area like you do, but i will once Im done with college :D

In my room I have my 75g planted, 10g planted, 50 inch plasma, blu ray, 360, but no surround sound. But i still like to spend time in my "man cave" in the garage, thats were all the dirty works happens. The other tanks are my "show tanks", the garage tanks are for breeding, quarantine, growing plants, etc. I like working on things for a while, then ill go inside and play call of duty and watch my big tank.

The shelves came with our house from the previous owners, all i had to do was convince my dad to let me clear off an area for my hobbie.

That's cool, sounds like you're way ahead of me in the aquarium department. I've thought about adding another tank or 2 but with work and all I really only have time to devote to one.

Now how do you go about funding all those tanks while in college?

I work also, but mainly i don't buy things at retail price. I look for deals, meet the right people, craigslist, Do-it-yourself, etc. Its all on a budget though lol

I think the time consuming part isnt that bad, its relaxing to me also so i like to work on my tanks.

Oh yea, it's therapy for me that's why I spend so much time on one tank.

I've seen alot of fish on CL but I always worry about doing business on there. Have you had any issues with your CL fish?

CL fish, i have not tried those yet, I only really trust good local shops. I use CL for everything besides fish. Ill spring the money on quality fish from a place i trust. If i were to get one from CL, i would make sure i have a quarantine tank to hold them in for a while to monitor them and make sure im not spreading any diseases.

So Ill either buy them, or ill go to one of my shops that i can trade in the fry i raise to adulthood for new fish :D
