Help me ID these fish I saw at my mom's doctor's office.

I was waiting for my mom at her appointment, and I saw these fish. I don't know what they are, so I thought I'd ask here. It was kind of sad. They were each in groups of 2, and seemed a bit aggressive and the littlest one seemed insecure, and he kept chasing the others. He seemed to look like he was lonely. So, what types of fish are they? I'm guessing the Piranha-looking one is a Red Belly Pacu. I have no idea what the whitish ones are, though!

It looked to be about 55 gallons, which is not enough, obviously. Those fish were at LEAST 6 inches in length, and the biggest pacu was the size of my hand, including fingers.

Not that this has anything to do with anything but what kind of doctor? My periodondist keeps a tank in his office and it's a perfect set up. My dentist keeps a tank in his office and it's a 35 gl hex with a blood parrot, a common pleco, two rainbows and two dwarf cichlids. I compain about it every time I go in there. Of course, each time I go in there I see one less fish. I say what happened? "Oh, we don't know, he just died one day".

I hate to say it but I bet the saltwater tank is up kept by a professional service because they are so much more expensive fish they don't want them to die and the fresh ones are just not that important to them because they are cheaper.
