Got another freecycle betta...

This one is a female and she has hardly any fins she was in a tank with tiger barbs and they picked on her so the last owner decided to rehome her. I had not planned on getting more bettas or setting up more tanks but when the fish is free and I got extra tanks setting around I just can't say no.
Here is her tank please ignore the the string around the rock I trimmed some java moss from another tank to put in this one.

And here is the best picture I could get of her:

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

Way to go Calmwaters! Poor little girl. She sure is a pretty little thing. I can only imagine how pretty she is with all of her fins. I wonder if she a Veil Tail? Halfmoon? Plakat? How exciting . . . I'd love to see her when she's all healed up. Great rescue!

Awwwww... she's so cute. She must feel like she's gone to fishy heaven after being bullied like that.

Kudos to the person who gave her up rather than flush her. And thumbs up to you of course for taking her in.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

She is beautiful, I have never seen a female with that colouring in any of my LFS'...well done on taking her in. Are you going to give her a name?

Nice, I think my eclipse one is that size. Its been out of use for a while cause I gave up on bettas after the one I had in there died(after a couple years), and I usually have bad luck with them, and I royally fudged up and killed my blue/white crowntail and blue ram and many others in my 75. But I might have to get another now, along with that moss. They have some nice "dragon" ones at my petsmart....
