Been busy so I havent been on much, But I have a update on my 240gal. Figured Ill just make a post and just keep updating it here.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestion feel free to post. Im a DIY type of guy and more then willing to help anyone with any questions that they may have.
I'll try my best to help others with my DIY builds via YouTube so it will be much easier to understand and build
Thing I want to build.
1: A top canopy
2: A "3D" Background with Styrofoam
3: Completely frame out the tank & canopy (to make it look like one piece)
So far that's all I got. Those are the things that will get posted when they get built.
The tank will be for a Lake Tanganyika setup. For Lighting I will just use a T8 shop light.
For filtration im running a Fluval FX5 and ground bedding is sand.
At the the moment im working on the Stand. Prep Work Rope Molding Trim Door Sample PhotoShopped Sample
I don't know if I should leave the doors as posted or separate them and make 2 frames on each door and put my knobs in the middle. Its just taped down with double sided tape till I find the right design.
Im using left over gray vinyl in the frame to match the dining room. The rope trim will be painted white to make it stand out a little more.
That's it for now.
