And here in lies my thoughts that froglegs are also part of the French cuisine. Escargot, anyone?

Hi Jin.

Yes, escargots are indeed snails. You tried one, no? I intended to ask if anyone has tried escargots aside from froglegs. I haven't tried both.

I have got to get me a 500 gallon tank with a school of 6 Silver Arowana. Yes I do. After I win the lottery.

Blue:
Escargot are OK. They're kind of like garlic flavored pencil erasers. Not quite that rubbery, but in the ballpark. I've always gotten them drenched in garlic butter, which is really all one tastes.

Frogs legs, OTOH, have a texture like a slippery chicken, and taste sort of like the chicken one would get in a fish and chips place, where the fish and chicken are all cooked in the same fryer. Maybe it was just the place that I had them, and the fact that it was a speed eating contest in which I was not allowed to use my hands, but I found them to be generally unpleasant without being outright revolting.

I would try them again, mind you, but not at that place.

I, honestly, felt that escargots and froglegs are revolting in taste. I've seen froglegs being cooked by some people here but eating them seems gross.
