Fishy pictures time( Mostly the platy gals!)

Well have you have any pets that absolutely hate taking photos? Well I give you a great example. Lately every time I do, they will like hide...

But at least Miyavi is the photogetic fishy.

and the cory catfish tiger and spot always hide. They are very shy.. :(

But then when I took out the floating plants, they didn't really hide much. Weird. Lovelie was giving me that "Darn she took down my favorite hiding spot" look.

Then the three of them together. Sorry flash isn't that great.

And two new videos.

10 gallon
4 juli cory

1 5 gallon empty tank

Yes, thanks. You might try sitting motionless in front of the tank, camera at the ready, for a spell; fish tend to forget we're watching them if we don't move. I've used this trick when trying to catch one.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

They r pretty. My dog Ginger hates it when I take her picture she always looks pitiful like I am fussing at her. I like Byrons idea of sitting in front of the tank I will have to try it.

Kindest Regards,

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

I have a 55 gallon, 40 gallon, 29 gallon, 20 gallon tank, 5 gallon , and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.
