I agree that your lighting should be fine for medium to low light plants. I have about the same set up over a 60 gallon tank. My plants grow like weeds and I have had to remove many of them because it was looking like a jungle. I think nothing is better then the real plants in a fresh water tank. I started with silk and within a week, I went to real. I hated how the silk looked compared to the real. I also made the mistake of thinking real were more difficult to deal with. They are actually quite easy to deal with and now that I have quit fussing over them, they are doing wonderful.

Did I read that you have 3 Tiger Barbs? If so, they like to be in larger groups. 7 or so would be a better group.

well i had them 3 for like now 4 or 5 years now. the only new fish/fishy is 3 angles =\

yeah i agree that you should get more tiger barbs. they are the worst fin nippers and they nip more when not in a suitable school size. at least 6 would be good. they would terrorize your angels who are vulnerable because of their long fins and slowness.
