My plan is to keep this tank the way it is and let completely cover the foreground. It's only been growing 2 months and it is well on it's way.

Good job! But is your "grass" melting? It looks alot shorter!

The giant hairgrass started yellowing and dying at first, so I cut it back. I added a second light with two 36w 6500k T8s in and it has started to come back very nicely, it has really started putting out runners in the last few weeks so I believe it will be fine. It was originally grown emersed, rather than submerged so I kind expected it to die back a bit anyway. I was also having problems with crypt melt, which seems to have stopped.
