Thanks PlatinumBlue. I'm using a Nikon D5000 SLR. For that particular picture I had the camera set to 48mm focal length, flash off, exposure 1/80 sec, f-stop f/4.8 and an ISO of 400.

Not at all, I still get plenty of naff pictures for each good one taken. Here's one of my rosey barbs - an absolute nightmare to get a picture of, they're so fast! I cheated a bit here and used the flash..



And a sterbai making a run for the surface..
