I think my water is in the middle ranges, being neither really hard or really soft. I get a new leaves all the time. When i bought it, it had five leaves, i had to trim off three of the big ones, due to algae growth. That was a month ago, now i have 11 leaves!! I'll post a pic as soon as i can. I really need to get a tester and confirm the hardness of my water though

All the leaves lay flat on the sand most of the time though....maybe i'm just expecting tooooooo much...lol

Odd...they should naturally rise up towards the lights... unless your lights are on the side-bottom of the tank which I sorta doubt!?
