Hope you manage to find some more of the lil ones too!
Haha, thanks! :) Can't wait to upgrade it!

And I couldn't believe it...I got home tonight, and saw my Amano shrimp-ALIVE! I don't know what the heck happened, but i'm so glad I didn't flush him when he was lifeless appearing on his back, aside from an occasional twitch. It was so weird!

Yea. I was so excited to see him lol. He has two ghost shrimp buddies now. One being pregnant...so hopefully the puffer will have some live food soon. Lol

I know my thread is old, but I didn't want to repost all the progression of pictures to a new thread. I got married back in March, and my plants didn't tolerate the move very well. Many of them died, but despite that, ammonia levels are still at 0, and nitrates are very low. The bacteria in the filter must have caught up finally haha.

I am still in search for another puffer or two, but haven't had any luck. Here is what the tank looks like currently. (It's murky from sediment I stirred up from the sand.) It needs to be rescaped badly..and as soon as we locate where the box of slate I ordered awhile back is, I'll be removing the branches, and adding in some slate. :)

I know, isn't it?! Part of the reason I'm just planning to rescape it. :) I just put in the dwarf hairgrass and moneywort in the back today. The rest was what remained, and my crypts are starting to grow back.

Good to be back! Finally have gotten some time to dive back into the hobby. Been a busy 4 1/2 months haha. My tank was a little neglected for a bit.

Added some pest snails into the tank last night (PEtsmart finally had some in their tanks xD) and she splurged. She's so fat right now, and surprisingly didn't eat herself to death last night. The new Oto I added is also doing well so far. She's (I think it's a she) is very active, and seems to be going after algae on the back glass of the tank. Hoping she'll eat wafers so she won't pass away. They're so sensitive.
