Couple Shots

Finally got my 40D back last night and snapped a few quick shots.

Couple of my baby blue dwarf gouramis and some bloodfin tetras.

Thanks guys....those were quickies.

I'm going to set the camera up on the tripod and get the correct lighting so you can see how much color they really have. Lots of blue, green and tons of red that is washed out from the flash.

Very pretty Gourami. Are those both male, how do they get along? I never had any luck with keeping more than one.

I actually have 3 males....g'damn fish store didn't tell me males shouldn't be housed together. And shame on me for not researching further before purchase. Although, they all get along well. One sticks to the top of the tank, one sticks to the Colosseum, and the other sticks to the other end of the tank amongst the plants. I keep an eye out for them nipping at each other or fighting with their tail fins. With their bright colors, it would be easy to spot if any of them get their scales or tails damaged by another.

I'm sure crazier combinations have worked. Your tank looks great.
