So i spent the majority of yesterday gathering new plants from the store and arranging my stock to fit my tanks.

This is my 10 gallon at the moment:

1 female black sailfin molly
5 ottos'
20+ platy babies
3 Molly babies
10+ Snails

My plan is to eventually move the female into the 20 gallon...eventually. She needs to grow a bit more. I am going to leave it how it is for now until everyone in there grows a bit more (or the mother gives birth again).

As for the 29 gallon tank, I am so happy with it. The only problem is you can't really see the red in the Red Ludwigia from the photos or video. It makes the tank look so much better. One out of the two female platys I put in 3 days ago is still acting weird. Probably just stressed from moving her. Hopefully she will settle in nicely like the other platy.

In the 29 gallon I currently have:
1 Male Creamsicle Lyretail Sailfin Molly
2 Female Redwag Platys
11 Neon Tetras
4 Bronze Cory Catfish
3-4 Snails

Video:

In the picture, the red ludwgia doesn't show as well, and the plastic plant in the front seem much more prominent than in real life. There is much more balance to the colors in the tank that is not being shown in the picture:

Once I figure out how to take a good picture of the new set up I will repost some better pictures.

I am also happy that I got my 20 gallon set up and running.

What is in my 20 gallon right now:
1 Male Black Sailfin Molly
4 Baby RedWag Platys
4 Snails

I hope to move some more of the platys into the 20 and 29 eventually (maybe 2 more into the 29...and 4-5 more into the 20) donate the rest.

When the 20 has more plants and is more filled out I will also repost pictures :) If anyone has any advice or comments I more than welcome them. Thanks all! :)

My 20 and 29 are low lit. The 10 gallon is decently lit.

I use 2 7watt GE 6500 Kelvin rated bulbs in the 10 gallon tank. (lowes)

For the 20: 15 Watt 18" F15 6500 Kelvin rated bulb (walmart)

For the 29: 20 watt 24" F20 6500 Kelvin rated bulb. (walmart)

I bought the cheapest bulbs that would produce the right light. Although they are all low light bulbs except the 10 gallon...somehow those bulbs are amazing.

No problem.

Please keep in mind that only my 10 gallon is sufficiently lit. The pictures don't do a good job of showing that because of my camera.

A good rule to follow by is 2 watts per gallon. If you can find a high output light like I did for my 10 gallon (2 7W bulbs outputting 4x the amount of light) then you are ok.

I would look at lights with Blue and Red light. Preferably Blue. Green light is not used by plants. Try and find a bulb that is 6500k. Sometimes 9800k -10000k works too.

Good bulbs will show you this information. It is really hard to find sometimes but keep looking.

I still think out of the three I like the 29 gallon the best. I'm a big fan of everything looking natural looking. The 10 gallon looks good too though it could do with a bit more in the way of plants.
