Long tanks that are shallower can sometimes be more of a challenge to aquascape, but when they are done as a stream habitat they are stunning. You have considerable potential here for a wonderful display. Mikaila is right, you need more plants. I know from our PM's they are coming.

As you add live plants, I would remove that bubble item. That is going to drive a lot of CO2 out of the water. And plants like the Cabomba need it. And they need light too, so I'll pick up on that in my response to your PM where you mention it.

I usually don't have the bubble running but put it in because the Pleco is there and I don't have many plants in there yet.

There is another piece of driftwood I put back in after "tannin" treating. It is in the open area on left. Pleco is happy with it. Still waiting to hear from Calmwaters about plants she may have for me.

Am anxious to get it fully "plant stocked" and will be removing the airstones then unless I need to keep one going for the Pleco. I have never had one before and know I will eventually have to give him up. Want to keep him healthy until then. He is the original one I was afraid had damaged tail in shipping by them dropping the box!!!
