She can put the lids back on no problem usually it taken them off that's an issue. That one practical time she had a problem putting them back on. She loves drawing and coloring. She was messing with her Dry erase board and marks that day.
I wouldn't say 90 miles is close either. Remember I don't like to travel soo to *me* that's a long drive. LoL

Ok so I didn't update my Betta/snail tank yesterday.
So here are some pics not the greatest.

That is about the only Crypt Wendtii I can get to grow decent!

My betta who HATES seeing his reflection

Some pics of what snails I have left.

I don't have too many left. I took a bunch to my LFS just soo I could get them gone.
His response was WoW you need a Yo Yo Loach and tried to sell me one! *Shakes Head* I told him it was a 10 gallon tank! He said it would be fine by itself in there!! Grrrrrr *Slaps forehead* Told him NO I didn't NEED or WANT a loach for a snail problem. That I will get them out.

REALLY?! REALLY!?? Man. . . fish shop advice has GOT to stop! Can we picket or something? Sheeeesh. Poor snails, I hope they go to a good home. The pile is greatly reduced - do you still have an eggsack in that tank?

My Betta is the same way, silly fish. . .

I think it's so odd. . . well CRYPTS are so odd. I don't get them. Wendtii has always done so well for me. I'm terrified to say stuff like that now, though. All these melted and regrowing and melting again crypts have me a bit skeezed out, being as I have a tank or two filled with almost nothing but Crypts! O.O I would be SO SAD. *pleeeeeease no melting!!!!* The Wendtii in the pic looks really happy, though ^.^

Yeah Jes I couldn't believe he was actually trying to sell me a loach! 0.o

I don't even think he had a Yo Yo loach there!! So that means he would have had to order it. He went as far as to try and show me some parameters lived in. I just politely told him I don't want one! LoL He finally got the point.

I still have one or two egg clusters on the lid. No clue if they will hatch or not through. They were laid after my male passed away.

The updates on your tanks look great, John! I can't wait to see the ! rasbora in with your badis. You've done a great job putting a nano tank together!

That is still a lot of snails. I can't imagine how many you took out and STILL have them. I'm also doing a facepalm over the fish store's advice. Plus, I don't think loaches can get to apple snails because they have operculums.

And *shifty eyes* let's not talk about crypt melt. I recently had a green wendtii and spiralis melt entirely away on me....

I can't wait till they are in there either! June 20th is the date they can come out and be with the rest of my fish! Am looking forward to that date but at the same time not! I have no clue how to catch 15 tiny fish! O.O
The tank is going to look nice for sure when its fully stock but I can't take all the credit as I help!

I must have taken at least 80 snails up to the store!I really have no clue as I didn't count them but it was like 3-4 handfulls if snails!

Yes lets not talk about crypt melts ... Shhhhhh... as mine are actually growing!!

With my husband's amazing double-net fish wrangling skills! I can't, seriously. I fail epically at catching tinyfish - and my tiniest fish - the Jelly Beans - aren't nearly as tiny as your little ! Rasies. I remember BWG using a cup. The suction when it went under the water was enough to snag the little ones - but his tank, and mine, are both bigger than your lil QT tank - I don't see how you could even get into there with anything other than your hands! I'd probably be inclined to tear the tank down and gently pour them into a net, or even just into the tank directly, since they'll have been in QT for 6(?) weeks by that point, and you're mixing stock anyway? Definitely get Nanoman's opinion on this one - he's got WAY more experience with this kind of thing!
