I must have missed that Puffer video - looks like we posted pretty much at the same time. Noooooo, he's not blind for SURE! Dude is a NINJA!!! I LOVE HIM! Thank you for taking the time to get that with your nice camera. . . I just watched it, like, five times. Going back for more. GAH! He's so CUTE! I feel bad for the snails, though. . . poor snails. Luckily he's quick enough that I doubt they know what hit them. . .

THREE CHEERS FOR FROGBIT!!! Happy to hear it arrived safely, and it looks beautiful! BWG is the greatest!

Can't wait for the NEXT happy update when you get your new plants. . . you're having a fun fishy weekend over there!

Well not too nice. My new Badis looks like he is starting to develop that same bacterial infection on his fins! :(

I dunno if he will make it. I thought he was the healthiest at the store but I guess I was wrong. I just did a water change and I plan on doing one every day till he gets better if he gets better. See this why I like ordering fish from the store and not buying them after they have been in the tanks for awhile. If one tank has a diease they all have a diease as they are all on the same filtration system.

I know this as I have had a walk through of the whole store including the back where the filtration system setup is located.

Jes to answer your question about if the bacteria is in my tank or the shops? I think the shops because of the statement above. Plus my other healthy Scarlet badis is showing NO signs of this in my main tank. I will continue to get fish from this BUT only when I have them order them and I pick them up the day they come in and that's it! I *might* try one more Badis from this store if this one doesn't make it but then that's IT!

Plant day. LoL

So today was apparently New Plant day for me. I got the Frogbit in from BWG as yall saw earlier but I also got in some more plants from a local friend of my wife's.

Hornwort (which I already had)
Green Cabomba
WaterWisteria
Ludwigia repens
Hygrophylla Polysperma "Sunset"
Java fern

I put alot of the Ludwigia repens, Hygophylla, and the Wisteria in my QT tank as I thought my new Scarlet Badis would appreciate it more. I also added a clump of hornwort and something else to the surface.

No my Badis isn't dead but he is sick

In my Puffer Tank I added some Hygrophylla Polysperma, Ludwigia repens, Java fern, and Java moss

This Java fern was actually in my Scarlet badis tank but it was getting too tall. So I decided to move it here.

In my Scarlet Badis tank I just added some Hygrophylla Polysperma "Sunset" and took out that Java fern.

BWG, thekoimaiden and Chesh like this.

Really lovely new additions! I hope they grow and do wonderfully for you! GREAT DEAL for exchange of magically multiplying Apple snails! :) I'm happy to see that the QT tank has been greened up a little bit, I'm sure you're right and that he appreciates it the most. . .

No not going blind just super hyper and crazy I guess is mote the words for it. I might try to get my wife to help me film me feeding him out of pipette. He pay sooo much attention to it that if any worms fall past him he doesn't see them. This is why I was thinking he was going blind. He obviously isn't has you can see how well he founds snails.
Yes the frogbit is awesome! Most of it was soo green and some even had runners. BWG is awesome for sending those!
