This is absolutely normal in a planted tank, especially a "natural" method setup. The plants use up CO2 during daylight and this reduces carbonic acid so the pH rises. During darkness when CO2 is being replenished, carbonic acid is produced and the pH lowers.
The level can vary depending upon factors such as plant load, fish, organics, etc. My tanks tend to fluctuate about 0.2 to 0.3 diurnally.
This also occurs in nature by the way, so fish are well able to deal with it.
You might see a change in GH and KH too, related. This also depends upon plant species; those better able to use bicarbonates will obviously mean more lowering of GH and KH during the day.
