In all seriousness it looks like there's going to be more melting before they start to turn around and start growing.
It's a lifetime membership! We're all trying to get out!

LoL its the only lifetime membership i have.........

The Crypts I bought locally haven't melted though.... Thinking that's the way to go. I just need to find Crypts locally and then they won't melt on me well at least not when I plant them. *Usually* though the crypts in the past wouldn't melt on me more then once. Though I did have a crypt once that wouldn't do anything but melt! It didn't matter what I did or didn't do.

If you want a little tip, when I get crypts in I cut them to the bottom so there are just the stems left. Some people believe this makes the crypt get over it's melting stage and it start growing faster for you.. Cause you know, it's like "crap I'm almost gone, better stop having a hissy fit and start growing again." Cause plants think that way.

That's my line, so that must make me the crypt melt president.

Maybe it's the pictures, but they don't look that bad to me. By not that bad I mean I would be jumping for joy if my new crypts looked like that. With any luck though they will knock it off soon for you and starting growing rampant.

A little update

For those follow here is a little update

First up is my Puffer tank. I haven't really changed this tank much.

I have moved somethings like the driftwood on the left. I think I am actually going to take that piece out as I believe its causing problems. It is breaking down faster then rest of the pieces of wood in the tank. Here lately the roots and leaves of the Water sprite have been getting covered in what I believe is a form of cyanobacteria.
So today I cleaned everything really well including the filter, substrate, and even the leaves on the plants. Then I got the biofilm off the top of the water. I don't know why this tank is soo bad for this stuff but it is and it usually runs lower on nitrates then the other tanks?? *Scratches head*

I thought I would do a side shot of the tank

Okay soo here are the crypts that I added. See BWG you are not the only one that has crappy pics or bad luck with crypts!!

In the next shot on the right side behind the driftwood is another crypt I added. I thought I got a pic of it but I guess not. Its a C. tropica I believe.

Here is shot of my C. pontederiifolia that has gone crazy. Ohh btw BWG this crypt did loss one leaf on me soo don't feel bad about yours.

My Dwarf Sag. has finally grown some!!! Its hard to tell in the photo but I can tell in person.

Soo thats the story with the puffer tank soo lets move on to the Scarlet Badis tank.
Thought the last pics were bad well you haven't seen anything yet!! LoL

Here is one very sad sad Crypt ummm yeah forgot what kind it was LoL

I don't think I got a shot of the C. Mi Oya either but they are still melting too
On a good note my Anubia Coffeefolia has a new leaf!

I will try to get some Pics of the Betta tank tomorrow along with some shots of the fish as well if I can. They never stop long enough for me to get good shots.

Looking good in there! I really love the coloration that new Coffeefolia leaves have. And hooray for the D.Sag! I can tell that it's grown since the last time you posted it. . . wonder why it suddenly figured it was time?
Glad you got the Puffer tank spiffy again. . . I don't know much about cyano, but I hope removing that piece of wood will solve the problem for you. I think you got some nice shots in there. . . good luck catching the actual fish, though! Can't wait to see them if you do!

I think the brownish color of the new leaves on the A.coffeefolia is awesome myself, Jes!
I am not sure why the Dwarf Sagittaria decided to grow?? air am just glad it finally decided to!! The only that has changed is I added an extra root tab by them. So maybe that helped them?? I haven't removed that piece of driftwood yet but am seriously thinking about it. Though I don't really wanna take it out till air have another one to replace it.

They're looking really nice! I certainly can tell the dwarf sag decided to grow. I wish mine would :/ I'm sure your crypts will bounce back. Mine have already started to recover from their transplant to my tank a month or so ago. Time and ferts!

What filter do you have on your puffer tank? I looked at your log and it said some kind of underwater filter, which doesn't look like what you have in there. I want to get rid of the HOB on my 29 gal and am looking for a good canister.

It use to have a Fluval U1 on it when I had the emersed plants. It was an underwater filter. I now have my Ehiem 2213 on it now. It doesn't flow as fast as it did when I had it on the 55 due to the sponge being on the intake.

Thanks I know the plants will bounce back in time but some just look really bad!
