Do you think you're able to take video clear enough to show them eating snails? I'd LOVE to see it, but they're SO small. I know *I* wouldn't be able to capture it with my crappy cam (if I had Puffers, lol).
Ummm Hmmm Ummmm maybe .... My Camera can do it that's not the problem. Problem is that the snails are soo thin out right now and the Scarlet Badis like to swim in the back of the tank. I am guessing for the reason there is more plants back there. Though I just took the towel off the tank and I saw 2 of them swimming in the front out in the open.

Well... they're notoriously shy little buggers, and they ARE still new to your tank. . . plus you've re-arranged the tank, what? Twice? Since getting them. I'm betting that in about 3 months time you'll really start to see them more as they become fully adjusted to live in your home - and they're probably still juvies, too. I know my rams, they *seem* to settle in fairly quickly, but it takes them a bit longer than most fish to really feel comfortable and start to shine. We shall see! I'm sure they'll be a bit less shy as time passes :) Can't wait!

LoL yeah I have messed with the tank 2x now but no more rearranging just adding more plants when I get the money. That won't require any moving tho as I have open spots and plants in mind to put there. So all should be good. *If* I think about it tomorrow I might see if I can get my wife to help me shot a video of me feeding my lil shy buggers plus the Puffer.

Your puffer is so neat to watch move! Also I love the big dog nose that got in the way!

My word! Those badis are tiny!! I think I saw one in a pet store last weekend. I was amazed at how small they are in person.

LoL the Puffer gets excited I think when he sees the cup. He pays more attention to the cup sometimes rather then the food that comes out.

Yeah "Rio" is our big goofy Dane that has to be right in the middle of things.

The Scarlet Badis are super small! That's for sure but they are pretty to look at. I put some NLS small fish formula in there (I think you can see the pellets on the leave in the video) last night and it was gone this morning so I am hoping they ate it instead of the snails getting it all. I have to go get more as my other dog ate all if it. I left the lid off and she found it. She LOVES fish food for some reason.

Little He is SOOOOOO CUTE! I love him - and he does seem to love that cup, lol! The Badis. . . holy cow! I don't even know how you manage to capture these itty bitty fish on camera - thank you for the videos they both were great - and HUZZAH for embedding! Your tanks are looking really lush, lots of good growth in there.

It'll be cool to see how they settle in over time. I'm betting they'll lose some of that shyness in a tank so perfectly set up for them as that one. It might take a few months, due to their skittish nature, but I'm POSITIVE it'll happen *nods* I've found that the 'funny' fish often won't settle into a tank until it 'matures,' and then they really start to thrive. Gorgeous little guys, thanks for being patient enough to take a video of 'em and post it! Both Badis and Puffers have been on my "MUST KEEP" list for nearly a year!

I hope your right and come out of their shell. They are such pretty fish buts hard to see them at times.

LoL the only fish I really really want is a pair of Red eye stripped Puffers. I guess that's my wish list or must keep list. Not very many fish on the list lol
