Yeah, I think I just want new bulbs for my current fixture. Maybe put my current bulbs in the kitchen to replace a coupla of the tubes that have been flickering.

The Coralife certainly doesn't have any fire risk reviews, so if you still want to go with a T5HO fixture, I'd recommend the Coralife.

That would more likely then not be a circuitry issue and nothing to do with the light itself.

You're probably right. Sometimes neither fixture in the kitchen turns on. Still wouldn't hurt to have newish bulbs since I have no idea when's the last time new bulbs were put in there.


Anyways, whatever light you pick bekah, I'm sure it'll work out great for your tank.

Oh yes. Every bulb except murcury vapor or LED are best if replaced every 6months. Visible light is still fine then however usable light isvat that point going down hill.
