i'll put a filter setup at each end of the tank

Heating:
decided on 250 watt adjustable submersible
(Amazon.com: Aquatop GH250 Aquarium Submersible Glass Heater, 250-Watt: Pet Supplies). i don't mind hang on side heaters for my little tanks, but in a bigger tank this seems better

Hood/Top/Lighting:
I have....NO idea what I'll do here. So this will be up in the air for now.

I also need:
plywood to expand my stand/cupboard
black paint for the back
play sand

Congratulation bekahhhhhhh!!!!

My stocking is at 350% I believe. It'll be a lot less if I didn't factor in all my "pest" snails :P Aqadvisor also doesn't factor in plants >.>

BEKAH! Go to wally world and get a "Light of America" fixture. You can use florescent tubes in it. That's what I am using on my 75 gallon and it works excellently.

Thanks Ao! I'm not counting the snails there obviously.....but I've got loads!

That's a good idea Fishy! I'm not certain theyve got a four foot one at mine but I'll look. Or maybe two 18 inchers, I'll just see! I'm thinking of going for a versa top for my 55 so a fixture could just sit on it
