So i THINK it may be having a baby! I will update as i check on it periodically. I know that the egg sack will basically have to be eaten, so I'll try to photograph that as best i can

So i never figured out what it was, but since i saw a miniscule baby in that tank starting yesterday, and the rest of the babies have already almost doubled in size, i'm guessing that it was a kind of egg sac. It had dissolved quite a bit by the time i went to bed, and this morning it was gone.

Really though, I wish i had a better camera. These babies are the cutest snail babies i've seen.if I look real close, i can see the almost microscopic (but obviously not microscopic, lol) spots on the white spot babies. all i can say is <3<3<3<3

No real updates, the snails seem to be behaving like, well, snails. The smaller/younger ones move around much more, the bigger/older ones like to be lazy, though also take their turns at climbing the walls. Tiny babies are SO cute. I cant wait to get a better camera to show them off!!!

yeah! just started it when i got my new snails a couple of weeks ago. i'm not very good at journaling though!

did get my GH and KH test kit today. it's the API kit. it looks like my water is pretty soft and acidic. Tap was 2 drops to change color for both KH and GH, and i think that means 2dgh? i don't remember. the 29 gallon tank was 1 drop to change color for KH and 2 for GH. That means it's also very low, right? I know my pH is 6 something.

I am getting my crushed coral in the next few days, so i'm going to carefully adjust it for sure.
