So the last three little cardinals are going to be traded for something else. Out of the missing five, I found one corpse. Which is why I think something is killing and eating. Soooo its possible I might just trade these little guys for a few cories, or start on a shoal of larger tetras. Idk.

Congos are pretty! They're similar to diamond tetra though, so idk...I really wanted color and that's why I got the cardinals. Idk, I'll see what they have.

Longfin red minors are pretty looking as well
I like the skirt tetras too
I read a lotta folks recommending bleeding heart tetras for angelfish.

What about barbs instead of tetra?

I actually got bleeding heart tetras!! I might look into barbs too though. I definitely am rethinking my final stock now.

I've heard that barbs can be pretty fin nippy and I was afraid to get my angels' fins nipped. Though I have a few longer fined angels.

Bekah, yours are standard fin and much larger. She maybe able to hold her own.

Barbs have a bad rep haha but a lot of species are sweethearts.

I was looking into the Cherry Barbs once. They seemed quite peaceful but a lot folks were trying to steer me away from the barbs, saying they are fin nippers.
