I think I've got my scape decided. It'll be another jungle, but that's my thing :) I made a list of things I will need to get to have it the way I want too! Luckily I've got all the plants I think I'll need so that's a big expense out of the way!
I need to get:
-playsand
-a second powerhead
-the two large sponge filters
-250 watt heater
-24in versatop x2
-4ft dual t8 fixture
-plywood to expand top of stand a little bit

As for the hardscape, I need one more hunk of driftwood, and the makings of a slate cave, since I want to get a female bn plec and want my pair to have a love shack :D

I think I want to avoid floating plants for the most part. Maybe large things like frogbit- NO DUCKWEED!!!!! And I'd like to try a lotus of some kind possibly. Other than that I'll just need ferts and fert tabs to keep my plantbabies growing!!! This is going to be gorgeous.

I am still pondering fish but there's no official stock list yet!

Powerheads will run the filters instead of air pumps :)

So the more powerful the powerhead the larger a bioload a sponge filter has?
I'm kind of confused here, do you have a sample of the sponge filter you're gonna use? I have the image of the tiny ones used in smaller tanks.

Yeah, that's the type I was thinking of. Those just feel so weird to put in large tanks. Are you sure it'll be enough? I haven't explored sponge filters for larger tanks.
