Yes I just bought six from him last monday. But I have four adults I've had for over a year or so.

so i haven't had any changes. Snails just do their thing, but i haven't noticed babies lately either. so there's my update! they're still alive.

I'm not really sure!! I know my girls are, but I've never noticed Roxas going after snails.

i should just change this thing to "snail log" because i have gathered all kinds of snails now!

today, from John, I received an absolute buttload of water sprite, along with 3 mystery (apple?) snails, and a bonus pond snail that snuck in with the water sprite.

There's a little ivory snail, it's in a 5 gallon planted, with a betta, various "pest" snails, and a nerite snail. I'm interested to see how the betta treats it since he has a habit of flaring at the nerite. also the pest snails die in there a lot, but the nerite is going strong. Hopefully my little white guy does okay!

There's also a smallish, but a bit bigger than the ivory, blue snail. Whenever the ammonia issues in my frog/betta tank calm down, i'd like to add it there. I put the white snail with the blue betta, so i want the blue snail with the white fish :P I'm silly....

and finally i got a great big, lovely purple snail too! I released that one fairly fast in my 29 gallon, and it scurried off to explore!

annnd we named the big purple one gary, because why not.

i know people get overrun by these things, but I hope they breed. I am snail girl. <3

Haha this does need to be called your snail log! I hope your snails from John do as well as mine have. They have gotten even faster than the goldfish at finding food! Woo! Monster snails!

Nice!! yeah they're already really fun to watch. mom likes them best out of all my snails, because of how colorful their shells are. i just enjoy their funny faces. Snail faces are just darn cute.

do mystery/apple snails like bba? I feel like they're definitely investigating mine in my 29 gallon.
