two of the snails smelt really bad i got rid of them right away and they had white stuff coming out of there shells. When i recieved them there were leeches in the bag with them :( ick. I wont be putting these snails in with my other's. I just want to buy yellow rabbit snails but it's extremely hard to find breeders. I am going to buy a new Fluval Spec V 5 Gallon Aquarium but i have four adults and six babbies i think, i didn't know if that is to many snails in a five gallon.

i definitely wouldn't put any fish in with them. they produce a lot of waste. i had one, my original yellow female, with my betta in a three gallon. she made a big ol' mess. And had at least one, possibly two babies just in there. i was cleaning it all the time. ten gallons is more what i'd try with that many snails.

I'm just confused why they were leaches. All seven have died now only living one is a tiny baby they through in the bag for free. Do you feed your snails cucumber pieces?

I do occasionally. Leeches are actually pretty common in rabbit snails if you read earlier in the thread. I have seen them but I haven't had a huge problem. What's your water like? Hard? Soft? Did you inform the seller, just to ask if he's having problems?
