Thank you, Dave! ^.^
Not for a bit of a while yet, Jaysee. This tank is going to dominate my living room, and there are just. . . a TON of details that need to be worked out first. My house is overrun by very small people and all of the wonderful things that go along with them, but the littlest has just turned three, so we're starting with a huge excavation of baby crap and going from there (kind of jealous of all you bachelors and empty nesters who get to throw 125's around your house like it ain't no thang!)
The Plan is to rebuild the living room around the 125, but I tend to get a bit dramatic with things like this. I have a 12 foot stretch of wall, with two 4 foot (I think, tentative plans are in my sketch book upstairs) flanking walls that I want to build bookshelves into and set the tank into the center of. I'm basically turning my living room into a fishroom library (my ideal world). Aside from cost, and kids, and all the other obstacles in my way - I've never built anything bigger than a doll house! My husband and ex-contractor dad are willing to help, but the project is mine, so I have a LOT to learn. . . all they've done so far is dash every plan I've come up with thus far due to annoying laws of physics *rolls eyes*
There's also all of the other STUFF that I need to collect for it between then and now - filters and heaters and lights, oh my! Nothing is cheap, and I have to learn enough about ALL of it to figure out what I want. All of my other tanks to date have been hand-me-downs. This one I want to do my way - only I'm not entirely sure what my way is just yet!
Long story short? I have NO idea. A while. Maybe longer? I'll get there, though! Getting the big tank was one really important step - but this is a dream kind of thing for me. I'll be patient - it will happen eventually!
In the meantime, most of my smaller tanks are being set up as plant tanks (and as we get closer, they'll turn into QT tanks) so at least that's been fun for me! I can't wait, am trying to be patient - have no choice BUT to be. . . but it's hard.
I AM having a grand old time coming up with insane ideas, though. I even have a friend of mine brainstorming ways of incorporating stained glass into the design! *giggle*
