Ouhh, I'd love one of those. I love fish and I'm a total bookworm. Make a nice comfy seat next to the tank where you can stretch out and read until you pass out, wake up to cool critters...oh yeah, heaven. <3

SOME people keep throwing random fish into my PM box *ahem* and I can't help but fall for a few. I still haven't done nearly enough research, so opinions are more than welcome. . .

What do you guys think about:

Zebra Otos
Red Lizard Whiptails
and Hovering Zebra Loaches?

. . . along with the other creatures and plantlife that already live with me?

Those plants never looked that pretty in my tank ;) Glad you like them! Even if they have trouble acclimating I have a never ending supply, theoretically. Haha :)

Red Lizard Whiptails! YES. I think they're gorgeous, and would look beautiful in your tank. And those loaches...they are just the cutest things EVER. They're adorable! And so tiny. Squee~

Haha, they HAD to! Unless. . . that happened in shipping? *scratches head* They're so pretty, I was staring at them all night, lol! I love the stems floating like that, just the delicate bit of color at the top of the tank is so gorgeous! :)

I just think it's so NEAT that you pluck them out of a lake. I really hope they thrive! Thank you soooooo much!!! I love them all, even though I didn't take pics of the teensy baby crypts - they make me super happy, too! :D

Thanks for your opinion. . .
*Jen's vote = SQUEE*
Got it!

I totally agree, btw - loaches!!? D'aaaw. . . and the whip-tails are stunning, neh? One of our resident lurkers actually has BOTH, and I'm jealous. . .

Whew. Wasn't me then. I only sent carefully hand selected fish. Nothing random about them.

Congratulations on the new tank! That's so exciting, like Christmas came early. The anticipation of setting it up and stocking it is a huge part of the fun (at least for me). My tanks are in my library...books and fish are a perfect combination. Unfortunately, when I cozy up on the sofa with a cat to read a book I am too far from the tanks to see the inhabitants, and when I sit on the chair next to the 75 gallon the light is too dim to read.

I agree. I like all three of those suggestions, but those Red Lizard Whiptails are absolutely awesome.

See, I come to the forums and I get all these ideas of things I want. LOL I suppose I am content seeing other peoples fish, sorta. :3

Thanks, Plummy! I totally agree. . . I'm having a blast plotting this tank! Hopefully. . . everything will go perfectly. Thanks for the input. I'll have to make sure I can see the tank AND read at the same time

Sylver. . .there are ENTIRELY too many fish in the sea, neh?!

The red lizard whiptails. . . yes. :) stunning, aren't they? I hope I can keep a group of 6 . . . ?

Well you can never have to many loaches in my opinion since I have 3 kinds, all these fish you have chosen are more non popular how easy is it for you to get these?

I can't even buy a red rainbow or golden ram with in a 2 hour drive from me and that includes Toronto which is a big city we have Big Als stores which are a big fish store I went this weekend since I lost one of my red rainbows and could not find one I did buy a dennison barb to go in my 120 I had 4 originally and 2 died so I have 2 they are supposed to be in groups of 6 or more but my 2 get along great so I had to watch the tank for a while to see if there were agressive ones there was only 3 in the tank and chose one and it seems to be ok
