That is soo good that they mated yet soooo bad that they fought at the end ....nooo! Do you think C. Cat will get back together with Hatter? FISH DRAMA! :O!

My angels clean rocks too when they spawn! IF you get bolivians can I get someeeee! :O! :!O :!O! <--so excited the smileys have acclimation marks in them.

My male angel fish also kind of wanders sometimes. He eats the eggs that fall off too...hahah

Wow you have ideas along mine. I want to set up the new 29 I got (slate bottom metal frame tank) so I can breed my angels in them. Then once they breed and get big enough to eat I can relocate the parents to the 75 (along with the babies I want to keep) and grow the rest in the 29 :) until people want them or my LFS always wants extra fish if it comes to it.

-----------------

^^ Me catching up in your forum.....lol

So I think that $250 for a 125 and stand is a great deal.

Looks like you will have to peal off the fake wood around the border of the tank or something.

Good luck!

Expensive sand? =o I'm wanting to make all my tanks sandy goodness too...it would be so costly though, and converting is never a fun process. lol I told grandma her five gallon would look better and we got into an argument. >>; She's so stubborn. Her tanks is having trouble I keep telling her why and making suggestions, but she yells at me. ;_;

They don't always look better, but it is better for plants and most critters(my plants do best in my tank with sand substrate....blast up like weeds). =p I like my ten gallon oasis.

So how are the wigglers doing? =o

Turning on the Aquarium lamp in the morning is MY cup of coffee.

Thanks, Termie!

I'm curious about the lil' rams, too! So far C.Cat and Liz have been the only ones to spawn, two times, almost exactly a month apart. I'm thinking they're a bonded pair, but . . . time will tell? All of the females have now reached breeding age, but the only other male is still a juvie. Interesting, the other females also get busy cleaning rocks when they're ready for a mate, but so far C.Cat has left them alone, apart from 'flirting' with Hattie that one time. Really interesting behavior. I suspect they'll be ready to give things another go somewhere in the 2nd week of April. . . we shall see! There's no way I can set them up a tank for another month or two, but I do plan to at some point this spring/summer. Just hope they stick together until I do!

Good luck with your angel breeding tank, that will be really cool, and I know you'll post all kinds of amazing videos!

I hope I get that tank, too! *crosses fingers*

Sylver, I really like sand, too! None of my tanks will ever have gravel again. For me, it has nothing to do with the plants - mine grew just fine in gravel for the short time I had it. . . I just like sand better - I find it prettier to look at (depending on the sand) and easier to clean. Plus the wigglers and the rams like it :) They're doing great, so super cute, and seem as happy as can be. :D Sand doesn't have to be expensive, though - you can get the play sand from the hardware store for $3-$4 bucks a bag! The black sand that I have in my 55 is way more expensive, though - I just really like the look of it, so it's worth saving for!

I KNOW!!! EEEEEEEEE! So cool! I really didn't expect this to just. . . HAPPEN without a TON of work. Not that there still isn't a ton of work before can go up, including clearing out and re-arranging the entire living room and reinforcing the FLOOR under where it will be going. . . but once the actual TANK is in my possession it's really. . . REAL, kwim?! I AM going to have my 125! *SQUEAK*

I hear ya, Termie! We got the fish bug, no denying it! Yes, the plan for this tank is a continuation of Becoming - the final move. I'll be shutting down the 55, and hopefully - eventually - be down to just the one giant tank and a QT. . . wonder who will live there by the time I'm done stocking?! That's a lot more space to play around with! *daydreams*
