How do you tell them apart? The males and females that is. I'm still wanting to try a pair of rams, but not any time soon. lol
I have enough drama in my tank right now...that newer male molly, he decided when I put those juvenile mollies in the tank, he wasn't going to get along with anyone anymore. He chases them, but more often chases everyone bigger. Not only is he trying to mate with everything that moves, but he's also fighting with them. x.x Bah, I finally get a nice looking boy and this just had to happen, he's gonna be separated if he keeps it up. =p I'll just pop him in the net for an hour and see he likes that! Well, he's much more persistent than any males I've had before, so at least I'll get babies. lol Usually my females are more persistent and the males all give up eventually, so any female I've had more than a couple months just stop having babies because they refuse to mate. Can't really blame them though.

Anywho, I'd like to see a new video of your whole tank! =)

I'm sorry this ram spawn didn't go as well as the first, but once you get a tank set up for them you should have plenty of ram babies!!! And we will demand pictures!

Heehee, I thought that was pretty exciting!

Yea, Izzy, I can't wait to get those two into their own tank and see what happens. . . trying to figure out where I can put it long-term, and still enjoy it. I would seriously cry if C.Cat wasn't where I can see him all of the time. We're like DAT ;) Plus, they'd get bored in a room all alone. Hmmm.

Sylver, I'm working on that vid (and pics) of Becoming as a whole. Super sweet of you to ask!

I'm glad they spawned again but am sorry that the eggs didn't make it. Brilliant animals to watch, such charismatic faces! Congratulations on the images on the website too! Woo!

I have to admit... you're making me want to upgrade Red. I'm moving my room around soon and I keep thinking about whether or not I can fit a 40 or 60 litre (err how many gallons... 10 - 15?) somewhere...

Still in love with the aquarium <siiigh>

Aww, thanks, Spook! I agree, the rams are just amazing creatures, with a ridiculous amount of personality squeezed into those little bodies. Love my babies. :) I hope you DO set up the bigger tank - the last time you had one of those, it was drop-dead GORGEOUS!

There is almost always room for another tank, but not always room where they can be enjoyed. I like the idea of a fish room, but then the tanks wouldn't be around the house for everyone to enjoy!

You could always rig up a TV, a sofa, a couple recliners and a book case in the fish room... just sayin'.
