I hate it when that happens! Looking forward to seeing your tank filled with fish!

will get the pop corn ready.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

LOL not just yet as stated everything is still kinda in the air and i took this step to get the cycle moving and to give me time to test.. if the free ones come in i have a back up plan to move forward (tons of tests and lots of w/c) but if they do not theni am going to wait a bit before getting the others....

Your tank is awesome looking and I like the second list of the yellow and blue together I think the two colors would look awesome together.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

so me being the total pain in the back side i am have been searching and searching and finally i found the deal i wanted!! i finally found a breeder in the area (1.5hours away) that has an on going supply of DEMASONI!!!!!!!! i am so excited and the price is half what you would pay any where commercially around here... so i contacted them and we have everything in place for when the money gets here and the cycle is done (its done but i want to give a little more time soi can build my second filter)...
so the list goes back to just the way i want it....
10-12 demasoni
10-12 yellow labs

and if i get everything just right i am looking for a compatible Mbuna that is red to add to the high contrast color of these fish.....

the adventure has firmly begun and the search continues......

That is going to look amazing. Can't wait for pics.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

That will look amazing. The Demasoni are gorgeous fish but I hear can be nasty! You have a large enough group though to keep their attention on each other. Can't wait to see pics of the tank stocked.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
75 Gallon - Odd couple (Polleni/Angelfish)
55 Gallon - African tank
20 Gallon Long - QT
10 Gallon - Empty

If you don't mind a hybrid, may I suggest a strawberry peacock?

You could probably keep some anubias and java moss in that tank...
