Barbs cleaning house
I took a short video clip last night to send to my sister who wanted to see our new aquarium additions and I thought that I might see if I could upload it here... more out of curiosity than anything else.
These are about half of the Cherry Barbs as they happened to be grouped together while cleaning the bottom of the tank. I typically feed them in the morning... today they actually went into a feeding frenzy as they have figured out that lights on means it's feeding time soon. I only feed them once per day and in the evening they take a few minutes to clean house on the bottom of the "feeding zone".
That is Oscar the Betta trying to get into the shot... seems jealous of our attention whenever we get close to the tank.
I'm not thrilled with the video quality, lighting, aspect ratio is the wrong way and I had some conceptual difficulties with the putting of the video in here. I'll probably try something else later after seeing how this works.
Total years fish keeping experience: 7 months, can't start counting in years for a while yet.
The shotgun approach to a planted tank with an LED fixture
Small scale nitrogen cycle with a jar, water and fish food; no substrate, filter etc
