makes me nervous. . . new additions to stock happen daily in a fish shop, and even the best fish shop in the world can't control what happens before the fish arrive in their care. Done is done, and hopefully all will be well, but please QT future new arrivals! I can't tell you how many people say nearly the same thing, and it's all good until something goes wrong. Then it's just preventable heartbreak. PLEASE QT in the future! *begs* It would be too sad if anything happened to your pretty babies!

That said (I HAD TO!) I'm always for a bigger shoal if space and stocking allow! I'd have done the same thing and brought the whole group, lol. I can't wait to see them all happy together in your tank. The ones you had seemed to be having such a wonderful time in the video you posted. So cute!

Old Man Purp, my striped kuhli passed away just earlier this morning. He was his usual self. All happy and active. I examined his outward appearance. All seemed well. Still had his color, no visible injuries, no redness, no bloating. His slime coat was still good. Being that he's estimated to be 15+ years old, I think that it was just his time to go.

Despite this, everyone is still doing great. Angels still look very healthy and so do the rummies. I uploaded this last night but forgot to post it here.

:( I'm sorry to hear you lost the old guy. It probably was just due to old age. Fifteen years is really long for a Pangio loach.

OH WOW!! Look at those guys go! Great choice just getting the rest of the shoal! And of course the angels are cute as they try to steal the show.

Yes, they're all quite happy together. Occasionally the group splits in half and they each swim the length of the tank in opposite directions. Once in a while 1-6 of them will split off to chill out and explore the middle/front part of the tank. I believe they're very happy and content in their new home.

My wittle angels are just so jealous. I wonder what I've done differently with them, every angel I see somewhere else just sits there or hides when you come up to the tank. I was also recording around their dinner time, so they were probably just sitting there begging for their din din.
