Stop it.. this is a fishkeeping site .. I got my diving camera just in time to head to the islands and take pics in the prettiest water and reefs around the Americas but found it is fun to practice in my tanks. I know I haven't shared too many pics of what I have but I'll trickle in a few then slam you with tons once I'm in town more. Reason I'm only posting mostly Angel pics..well.. they are camera hogs and even at night seems my African tank is full of fraidy cats.. so hera ju go. just a few for a teaser.

^ look close this little scared DG is hiding near my ornate bichir.. you can barely see it but it to the left of the DG in the far back

and my feather fin handing out upside sown in the African tank

.....stay tuned more will come.

haha.. I know.. Poor scardy DG. It went to the bichir for protection. I noticed the Balas were doing the same thing. I guess they feel the bichir will defend them against very scary weird orange thing connected to the hand that normally feeds them.

Coming soon. Got some at the beach and some in the pool today. I think the first outing by boat will be friday so I should get lots then. I should strap my lifeproofed iphone to my arm clip and set it to record while I use the camera for pics and videos..that would be interesting...or terrible. lol

I think if I did that you would barely see the fish. They would knock it over in less then 1 sec. No harm in trying. maybe I could anchor it a few inches away from the food. They are crazy at feeding time.

*update*

I am the iPhone murderer! Lifeproof still doesn't mean Marie proof:cry:
But anyway I'll share some pool and ocean pics and when my SD card finishes loading my French Cay pics I'll load put some over on the other thread called "C'mon guys" or something(right Chesh?)
1 of my fav feeshies in a pool

and the fish I've owned the longest.. He is in the ocean here( very strange fish..can handle saltwater, freshwater, chlorinated water, land:shock:... rare species indeed!) We were hunting crabs here in this pic. Caught a couple cute little ones then released after we had fun with them

Back to dee feesshies! So this is the iPhone(yes bekah, the new one and haven't killed it yet!)
My peacock eel just got kicked out that day my my ornate bichir. They tolerate each other, but why on gods green earth did those two attempt to fit in a small set of roman columns together.... Both 7-8 inch long fish! Eel got scuffed up and a tiny bit stressed but he has happily resided in the plants since then..plus he loves to be fed out of my hand! He is so tame :)

BTW stay tuned.. my bichir who hates cameras was finally caught with my diving camera. He is soooo much bigger now!. Having trouble loading the video though.

heehee, I like your people feesh, and your feeshyfeesh! ^_^

Poor lil' Peacock! Sounds like he had a super rough day! Glad he's doing better now. . . silly thing, you would think he'd be wise enough to back down from a Bichir in a tight space!

Speaking of Bichir. . . wanna seeeeee!

You posting the vid in this thread? Ooooor the Bichir thread? Oh, and you mentioned the diving thread, too!!! Oh my, I get too confused (and behiiiinnd) with all these fun journals! I have a LOT of catching up to do!

I totally forgot to add the french cay diving pics!
Thanks Jess, my people fishies are so fun but such expensive upkeep and tank requirement!! ;-)

I guess whenever youtube OR ANY SITE decides to not reject my Bichir video it'll go here..since I actually did shoot the vid with "Agents new toy".

How in the world do other fish put up with loaches? In my 55 any and every fish will end up as a landing pad or with a loach casually hanging out on it head. lol. They're crazy. And it's not like I did a water change here or anything to spur this weirdness.. this is everyday all the time!
(there are 8 but seems at any given time only 4 will be going nuts in no particular order)

And speaking of my Africans.. Tank boss one of my Rustys spawned with the only female i have in there a sunshine peacock. She has a thing for thugs and spawned with the last tank boss too ;-) . The fry have never made it nor did I care. However a few days ago I found out one made it!! Its sooo tiny but eats really well on the same food the adults do. Even takes pellets and stashes them in its hiding spot lol

I have a new baby! ( African Cichlid) - YouTube

Yes I know the red zebras mouth is hurt. He has been battling the tank boss pretty bad lately.. But it always heals a few days after the fight.

Hooray for fishies! ^___^
Assuming you used your not-so-new (anymore) toy for these shots? Is it difficult to control/focus underwater? It's hard enough getting a good shot from OUTSIDE the tank, I'm assuming it's more or less luck from the inside (unless you stick your head in, which. . . with you. . . I wouldn't be overly surprised if you said you did ~.^) That second gourami shot is GORGEOUS, and I see lil' Baybay stalking around in there, too! How big are your angels? Gah, pretty things!!!! <3 fish!

Lol.. Jess .. I was sooo close to jumping in the shark ray tank when I went with Josh to the aquarium. I joked with the owner of the 240 about maybe I'd get snorkeling googles and hop in to do any tank work because it's too deep for me to touch the bottom easily .
The diving camera is sour easy to use under water.. However I took these with my iPhone because Baybay runs from the underwater camera .. And so do the DGs.
The angels are about 4-5.5 inches now .
