I started this tank- my first tank, back in October, if I remember correctly. It's come a long way since then, and I've definitely developed new skills and taste. So it finally came to the point of me being completely sick of the Flourite Red gravel I had in the tank, and making the switch to Flourite Black Sand.

Let's have an adventure.

This is what the tank looked like right before making the switch.

The tank looks really good, Jen! I STILL like the contrast between the left and right sides. Maybe I'm just used to it, but I always have! Maybe a little lotus and a zillion root tabs would fill that corner well? *giggle* How long did you say that aponogeton was when you pruned it the other day?

The pieces of your 10g are really falling right into place, it's really starting to grow! I'm so in love with your little cherries . . . ^.^

Your Riparium is awesome, I *think* you've changed a lot in there, since then, neh? Maybe this project deserves a thread of it's own. And how's that other project of yours going? ;) I think it might be update time, girl - even though I'm so far behind with catching up to you! ^.^
