The rainbow dragon has recently become the dominant one it seems . I'm sure that'll change when living with the full grown angels ... But then again maybe not . Certainly different fish . Discus keeping has so far been an adventure for us both

I'm filling the tank !! Haven't prepped the fx6 filter yet .. Or the inline heater or the uv sterilizer .. But have at least for the next 2 days the filstar XP XL ready to go .. Put a couple plants from the 75 In already . Considering moving the balas on over tonight after I fill .. Idk yet .,

Oh dear the fish are splashing me in the 75 looking at me finishing up the 225 lol!

Using both the python from the sink and the powerhead from the bathtub to fill this beast .. God lord even that is taking loner them I'd have thought .

Looking good! I really liking the substrate, love the white area flowing in the sea of blackness!
Can wait to see it filled with fish

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

Oh wow autocorrect hates me lol! Looks like a other language .. I meant colors seem off in that picture haha.. I put two if the angels and the balas and more plants in after that picture I took last night in the previous post , but the planting part will be a slow process .

Thanks ! My idea with the sand is to create a river within the tank in white .. I'll do no planting there and it has black river stones as a border to help reduce the sands mixing . I still have 20lbs more river rick to put in there but lord this is a big job and I really get soaked working on the bottom of the tank lol..

That light is going to be trashed. Life got in the way of me picking up/buying that metal halide light .. I really hope that guy still has it.. If not I'll buy an LED one really soon.

I can tell those two angels are seriously not used to the not so jungle like planting I e done so far . And Baybay is mad at me for taking his favorite plant .. He's sulking right now .. Not realizing he's going in the big tank to .

LOL, didn't even know you posted words in the other post! If you didn't say anything I would of not noticed!
Your sharks look very happy in the open space of the tank, they getting some real exercise now!
Also your angels look fabulous! I love the platinum one! Are your angels a breeding pair?
I got a great suggestion on not getting your arms wet - just use Jaysee! Or maybe your mini slave could go diving? I guess the water would be warm - bath time?
haha Baybay is sulking! That would be a sight to see.
Don't worry about your light, it like 20x better then mine! haha, you could have worst!

Haha.. My mini slave would happily swim in there again. I wonder what the fish would think .

I don't know yet if those two will breed.. They do get along but that golden one is still young. I have two breeding pairs then those two and tie more even younger ones .. Wait no 3 because I've raised a fry from a pair .

Well luckily the guy does still have the metal halide for me! I just tossed one random plant bulb and a spare reptile bulb in that current fixture .. Looks weird to me but it works for the moment .

More progress ! I can't wait to yank all those heaters out and install my inline heater ! I put all the rest of the occupants of the 75g in and just have the other discus left to put in fish wise .
The fish told me they like their new tank! Lol. On of the pairs of angels I put in last night have already laid eggs all over one of the intakes .. And somehow pulled it off the glass lol. They did this in no more then 6hrs after going in the tank !

Excuse the mess in the tank by the end of the night I was literally tossing the decor in and however it landed was how it would be haha., till I feel like positioning it . Also after I scape it more the columns and orange plant are coming out . I even tossed that pile of plants in the water as I was too tired of planting
