nice, how much did they cost?
Less than I expected. I got them from a place called Gwynnbrook Farm in Owings Mills, Maryland. This is supposedly the largest Discus hatchery in North America. The Tangerines were $30 each, the Red Turquoises were $35 each and the Blue Snakeskins were $45 each for a grand total of $231 with tax! We picked them up since it is only about an hour away, but they also ship all over. Well worth it so far, we love them!

wat lovely fish id love one of these but is my 28 gal too small for 1??????
Yes. One is not recommended. A 28 gallons is a breeding tank or grow-out tank for them rather than a permanent home.:)

Thanks for all the comments! They are getting more brave and swimming around like they own the place now. Hopefully I can get them to eat something soon! Any tips?

I tried to feed them some beef heart but when I go to lift the canopy they start to hide. I will try again when I get home.

hehe you must know how to cook them before to eat
Hmm, are you taking the p***?

I think it is the fish who are hungry and need to eat, rather than us who are hungry and need to eat the fish!!!!!
