Oh I know. I write everything down on a pad of paper I have on my desk next to the tank. I just gotta keep waiting and staring at the tank. Like staring at it will do anything :)

Oh I know. Even my cat watches it even no fish for him to watch, but he is patiently waiting for some.

Haha, poor kitty!!! Glad to hear you're gonna stick to fishless - it really is the best way to go for the health of the animals. I hope things are progressing for you now?

You guys sound like me with writing things down.
I'm still keeping the journal I started 2 years ago - even though there isn't *much* to write in it anymore. . . going back through time and noting how my various tanks responded to various things over time has taught me a great deal beyond anything else I could read in a book, to be honest. It isn't just a time-killer, it's a lovely practice that you may thank yourself for one day.

Can't wait to hear how that cycle is coming along! Good luck!

The cycle has came along. It is where it needs to be.

The temp of the tank is 72
pH is 7.2
Ammonia is 0ppm
Nitrite is 0ppm
Nitrate is 30ppm

The nitrates are fine at that reading? I read that as long as they are under 50ppm it is good.
I plan on Thursday going to go get 4 goldfish to add to the tank.

Also the wood has finally sank too!

A water change would decrease that? Right?

Thanks, I love shopping so wont be a problem.

Yep! Water changes to decrease nitrates! Goldfish will sure help with bringing them back up again, though! >.<
Did you get the fishy babies?! *ishexcited*

I just got them last night. I have been busy and wasn't able to get them sooner.
Hopefully the video works. I got three, all orandas I believe. A red cap, copper colored one and a calico. The calico seems to have some deformities but is doing well. The copper one constantly picks on the red cap. I hope it will end, it has been doing it since I put them in the tank. Not even interested in the food I gave them.

My Goldies - YouTube

I couldn't upload it onto here. So there is the link to it on youtube.
