what to do with pleco he looks so lonely

wow ! tanks looking great :)
fish list loks good,only thing i would change would be the
dwarf gourami,i'd have Pearl gourami instead,
but that's jmo. :)

if i were you i would get 1 pearl and 1 dwarf. they are both gorgous! everything else sounds good!!

i love chocolate gouramis too. how big do they usually get?

I was kind of looking into chocolate gouramis as they have them at one of my LFS. I have read that they are a difficult fish to keep and may be susceptible to parasites. Here's some info on them:

5 cm if you're talking about Sphaerichthys osphromenoides. Sphaerichthys vaillanti is 6-7 cm. Both are best avoided as the former tends to die rather quickly especially if the pH is too high. The latter is just as delicate but not really delicate compared to the former. Unless you are prepared to keep those especially with a constant supply of live foods, you are better off with other species. Both are also not community fish and will do best in a species tank only with a few wild betta species, sparkling gouramis and licorice gouramis.
