46 Gallon Planted

Hey all- Im no good at taking pictures, but I tried for the sake of posting some seeing as how a few members have asked me for pics of my tanks already. These pics are of my planted 46 gallon bow front. As I get a bit better with the camera, I will post more of the rest of my stuff.

Here is what I have worth anything so far lol

And lastly, this is my whole tank JUST after moving it to my new apartment. Thats why it is so murky, although that has completely cleared up. (Moved it Saturday morning)

I should add, I have no fish in this tank, just a few cherry shrimp and snails. If you can't find any fish that is why, lol.

Thats for sure.

All but the last pic were taken today. The filtration system is pretty good (my personal favorite actually) and it cleared it up really quick. That last picture was taken an hour after it was set up. Moving all the plants into styrofoam and back into the tank, plus the tank in the back of the car really stirred things up a bit, lol.

Thank you, I will do that from now on, it was definitely annoying lol.

I am not planning on putting any fish in it at all actually. I have a very large piranha I thought about putting in the tank (dirty fish, but VERY planted tank friendly- thought it might work well) but the size of the fish would take away from the peacefulness of the tank imo.

If I did put any fish, there is a type of gold barb, not sure of the name of it- it is about 2.5", golden with black spots, I would like to school in the tank. I think they are very cool looking but not sure if a planted tank would suit them well.

The town I live in has notoriously bad neon and cardinals Ich wise, otherwise I would throw 8 or so in it.
