They are doing wonderful so far. I have not seen any deaths, and they are coloring up beautifully :D

My hang on breeder was difficult to maintain. I was having trouble balancing the light and water parameters in such a shallow tank with the water being calibrated for the main. SO, I decided to let the algae take over on the walls of it. Now it isn't easy to see in from the outside, but it allows me to grow high light plants now :D

It has become a mini downoi farm for me :D

Update on the rescape after I moved the tank a few months back.

(Just so you know I liked the pic, not the horror story)
I'm sorry to hear about the rest of your shrimp, sounds like you could do with some more? (I suggest a slower transition between waters so they don't go into shock, they not very hardy animals IMO)
