I also got a new 50g that i'll be getting going soon.Just researching everything so I get it exactly the way I want it.

Thanks guys. The good thing is I get to combine both of my hobbies by building my own stands.I also built the stand for my 50g that I'm working on getting going.I'll start another thread for that one but the build is gonna have to wait until after we take our vacation next month.
Byron I have a question about my Echinodorus Rubin. It's the only plant that isn't doing well.My ozelot is doing great as you can see in the first pic.The rubin hasn't taken off as well.I moved it a little farther away from the back wall when I did my water change this week and l'm getting root tabs for it.I dose with Flourish Comprehensive also.Any other suggestions? The crypts are all growing well and the valls have runners moving out with a daughter coming up on one and the java fern is doing good too.

Not sure I can see it, but is it at the back just left and behind the crypt in the centre? Smaller leaves that the crypt? If this is it, yes, I would move it out front, as these need more direct light. Also, a root tab fert would help. I have found that tabs assist the red leaf swords.

Lee, how did I miss this thread?? Your tank looks great and I LOVE the canopy and stand. I wish I had some carpentry skills such as yours. (They should have let girls take wood shop back when I was in high school)
Nice job, your tank looks lovely.

I'm assuming the back corner plants are Sagittaria subulata? Or is that the "leopard" Vallisneria?

I can't wait to see the new pics. I also can't believe your Gourami get along so well together. No fighting? Sheesh, i must have had the crabbiest gold Gourami in the world. She killed 2 of my other ones and went after the last remaining Blue. She unfortunately had to go meet Jesus. My last Blue is doing fine now but I won't chance getting any more Gourami together. Glad yours are doing so well. Your tank looks great and your plants have really grown, they look great. Also, I have a snail that looks just like yours. A very interesting character.
