I definite forgot to post it! sorry haha. One other thing, my Ph is at 8 and im not sure why. All thats in the tank is hose water and prime to treat it, aside from any decorations etc.

Looking good so far. Do you plan on adding a background? I think that would look nice.

As far as your PH, I'm not sure I'd worry abut it, unless you plan on keeping delicate fish that require a certain ph level. Mine sits at 7.8 and rather than try to tinker with it, I'm fine with it. When it comes to ph, stability is more important. Most fish can adapt provided they are acclimated properly. It's easier to work with the ph you have than trying to mess with it.

I plan on getting a couple of mollies and then maybe some neon tetras or zebra danios. I really want to get a red tail shark...but im not sure if the aquarium is enough to support it. Also going to get a shrimp or two.

the red tail only grows to about 6", so it should be ok

I got some plants, they're not 100% aquatic plans however. But I've read they live quite long. I think their common name is Umbrella Plant and Peacock Fern? Got them at petco, figured they'll tide me over until i can get some java fern and/or anubias.

and cool on the red tail, i'll definitely be getting one as soon as its cycled.
