So I woke up today to all my plants in the 10 overturned and this clacking noise. All four loaches were having a field day after realizing there is food to be had worming around in the substrate D:

It has been nearly a week with no signs of illness. They are active, they seem to eat when they find food, and show no signs of flinching or flashing. Considering what they did to poor Clover's tank I decided it was time to move them to the other tank.

Unfortunately that meant moving out all the plants and playing a game of Catch as loaches are really good at not being caught! I got them though XD

If you wonder how it went:

Oh YAY! The babies are home! Looks like all went well, if it took them quite a bit of time to 'decide' to leave their happy little bucket! Hope they love their new home, and that their new shoal-mates love them! :) SO happy that you have a proper group again!

Their new tank mates have more than accepted them. They dance with them!

When I came down stairs to see this is just...I wanted to cry because it's this kind of behavior that I missed seeing so much from my old loaches. Finally they are doing it again. You don't see it here but eventually all but two joined in to cavort, dance, and play. Even then later on those two came out as well.

Also the change has now happened with filtration. The tank is now running on a Deep Blue Sponge Filter rated for up to 125 gallons. I've got the Deep Blue Sphere 4 air machine running on it as well. The fish don't seem to mind the change and still dance their little hearts out.

I have a talking video (ran into 9 mins oh well) which goes into the changes. Half way through the adult Histrionica make a good appearance XD

Your loaches are so adorable!! And so lucky to have someone like you who is so attentive to their needs! I love seeing the loachy dance, too. It means all is well in their crazy little world.

Did some of the rasbora join in with them, too? Must have been just to much excitement to miss out on for any species!

So cute are you loaches!
I still can't get over "You getting chased Blue-gill!" LOL, so random! Like it!
Also like your 6 minute spill of filters and heater, it helped me alot with my hermie tank - i need to get a filter! :D
Also love the end too - you said goodbye and you end up talking a minute more . Must be a fish keeper thing?

Aye it is a fish keeper thing.

Speaking of which those damn loaches have fun tearing up my scape.

I've had ups and downs with this tank. Lost several shrimp who turned white and died. That's a given when you bring new shrimp home though that some might not do well with the change.

The "beta" yoyo loach sustained injuries recently, and I think it got in a fight and lost with the two large Histrionica. I increased the water changes and feeding (and am putting more food down) because it may simply be food aggression related.

The yoyo of course have dug up the water wisteria I tried to root, and the water sprite. Both float now, and I'm leaving it that way. They've been pushing my java ferns around too so I'm going to try to tie them down next. Other than that though everything has been going pretty well.

Silly little loaches! It's just like kids to think they can do better than the parents!

Your tank looks great. Certainly much more muted light now. It looks so calm compared to what it normally is!

Thanks. Yeah they are exactly like kids. Rotten brats but I love them anyway. :3

Yeah it is a lot more muted. I removed the t5 light I had on top because it seemed to be accelerating the algae growth. Since removing it that odd green stuff hasn't come back and I haven't seen much else in the way of algae either. Fish seem happier too.

Also the floaters are really beginning to all take over the tank together and that also helps to create a more relaxed atmosphere. I really need to start getting floaters into the 150, but I really want water lettuce for that.

Oh, I forgot to upload this the other night.

Update on Clover's planted tank. It's doing so well. :3
