Those harlequins look great with Blue-Gill! I hope he doesn't have any more fin-biting episodes.
It's just a matter of getting a new power-head. I say died but I think when I got home and took a nap, the sponges clogged up and it ran dry. So it may have died from that but I'm not really sure.

I don't know. If I can get an Aquatop canister that someone has shown me down the road I probably will pull off the Aquaclear but...I'll keep it so that I have a nice back up. It's a nice filter after all.

Yeah same. I need to really move some of the plants around to hide the sides because I think he's just flaring too much causing some of the issues.

Wow... she IS getting huge. She's such a pretty Bichir, I love seeing her out and about. . . it's becoming more common, too! I'm happy she's doing so well.

HOORAY for the little Rasa! I'm glad they're doing well, and that poor BlueGill's fins are already looking better!

Is the new filter set up and running? Hope that goes well!

Yay for working canisters!

You really get a good feel for just how big Queen is in the video as you can see her next to one of the sengals. She's beautiful!

It's an Classic Eheim 2213. Wasn't too hard to figure out how to work it. It's so silent it's amazing. Works in my favor to since I get a filter and was also able to trim out some of my plants, trim the big wisteria, and open up some swimming space in my 20 gallon. he gets a nice good bundle of plants to go into his 55 gallon too.

Also let me know when you want to do the Riccia thing. I have quite a bit of it now and can stand to get rid of another bundle.

Also yes...I wish that the video had been with a better camera but it does so perfectly give an idea of scale.

Hooray! I just got an Eheim classic, too - a smaller one, of course, but I'm very impressed with how QUIET the thing is, too. It's NICE! Glad things are clearing up in there, and plants that are growing enough for extras are ALWAYS a wonderful thing!
